If we shall not be fool and will keep strictest quarantine, it is possible that after couple of months Cyprus may become "a park of health". If this will happens the fantastic economic perspective will open. Not speaking about huge demand on Cyprus agricultural products, this will be a new form of "medical tourism". Too many rich "virus refugees" will like to come here to live for several months (or even years) and to pay even more than now passport buyers pay.

Of course, all of them first must come through 2-3 weeks quarantine under strictest medical control. But after that they will become normal temporary residents and live normal, but expansive life.

There will be a lot of work for tourism industry as well as for services: Cyprus has a huge experience extracting money from rich foreigners. But there will be a lot of work for farmers and retail also as well as for other industries.

Thus we have something, for which we must be clever, patient and disciplined now.

Если мы не будем дураками и удержим строгий карантин, через пару месяцев Кипр может стать заповедником здоровья. И тогда для республики откроются неслыханные экономические перспективы. Резко возрастет спрос на продукты кипрского животноводства. Но важнее другое – резко вырастут возможности долгосрочного медицинского туризма. Богатые люди захотят приехать на Кипр надолго – на многие месяцы, если не годы. Такая путевка будет стоить недешево. Очень недешево.

Естественно – сначала карантин. 2-3 недели. А потом – нормальная и, главное, безопасная жизнь. Только дорогая.

Будет здесь работа и бизнесу туризма и даже юристам – заполнять заявления, у Кипра огромный опыт в вытягивании подобным образом денег у иностранцев. Будет море работы у крестьян и торговцев. И у всех остальных тоже.

Так что есть смысл постараться. Есть из-за чего.
