Next revolution in the family enterprise was made by Constantinos's grandson and great-grandson: Constantinos and Andreas Christofi. Andreas decided to breed sturgeons. Thus fruit farm were supplemented by fishery farm, where already 10 years 5 kinds of sturgeon grow. And oldest of them already produce caviar. It have been a real revolution. And mother does have a good reason to be proud.

Grandfather and Great-grandfather of modern owners Constantinos Christofi transferred the family farm from cultivation of traditional grain to vegetables and fruits in 30th of the last century. First, they were apples and citrus but later citrus were replaced by peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, cherries etc. The huge family garden is there on the terraced banks of running to the sea Kouris, the biggest river in Cyprus.

The known history of farmers Christofi started somewhere between 17th and 18th Centuries. The family was among three who founded the village Trimikliny. But if 2 others where graziers, Christofi always were agriculturists. The founder of dynasty Charalambos Christofi trying to safeguard his sisters converted in Islam and became Ali from Trimiklini. Pasha Ali. It was highest honorary title in Ottoman Empire. But converting formally Charalambos-Ali tried to stay Christian and this was extremely dangerous. When Pasha Ali was found in church celebrating Christmas, he was sentenced to the death penalty in accordance with the law of Sharia. However the sultan pardoned him limiting the punishment by confiscation of property. The records of famous monastery Chrysoroyiatissa mentioned Ali from Trimiklini who donated 622 grosia (about 15 kg of silver) to construct new church. He donated to the same monastery also the watermill.

Please take B-8, main highway between Limassol and Troodos, and drive in Trimiklini about 20 minutes.
Here you have a choice between 2 roots.
The short route: turn left 20 m before fas station Petrolina and drive down to river.
The picturesque route: drive to 70-meters long road bump in the center of village where you will see the sign "Land of Dreams", turn left and follow signs first down to the river and after along the right bank about 2.5 km.
